Trick-or-treating season means lots of little feet (and plenty of trips in and out of the house)! Here are some ways you can keep your floors tidy during trick-or-treat night with a few simple steps:

🍂Place a doormat, runners, or cardboard at every entrance to catch dirt and leaves.

🍂Sweep your porch, steps, and sidewalks thoroughly before dark so kids aren't tracking wet leaves, loose soil, or damp mulch onto your threshold and to keep debris from scratching your floors.

🍂 Set up a shoes-off policy at the front door when frequent visitors are stepping inside.

🍂Hand out candy from the porch or top step to keep trick-or-treaters at the door, instead of having neighbors walk all the way through your entryway.

🍂Clean up muddy footprints and spills as soon as possible.
