One of three SGT Survive/Escape in high carbon 1095, featuring a nice hamon and a full flat grind:)

Random shots as the shop gets fine tuned for max effort. Added a forge for heating the shop, heat treat and maybe beat on some steel.

Layout, cut, and shape is done. Time to drill, grind false edges, terminal edges and package for a trip to Peter’s heat treat. Survive/Escapes, OddJobs and Kingfishers in CPM3V for the win!

While they are gone I can work on this stash of SGT goodness. The three Survive/Escapes in the second picture are in 1095 high carbon steel and will feature hamons, one of them is for me.

Time to flip the switch.

Cart before the horse, I got busy and failed to check my Kydex inventory. To my dismay I have no black, a bit of orange, Ranger green and a lot of hot pink....(Ha ha I ordered the wrong size that day)

So things are on hold until it comes in, waiting on bandsaw blades for the other knives. So I grabbed 5 Hornet Recurves and will feature a killer flat grind, something I look forward to.

Shop still has a few operational kinks, but it’s getting smoother.
