No handle? No worries. A happy little side project for our friends at . Their fridge handle had long ago been broken off, so we took a quick measure with an ancient yard stick, printed it up in ABS-GF with captive threaded inserts, and gave it a hard coat with Krylon Fusion. Now in subtle service for many years to come.

Project Brief: Design and fabricate a pair of no-drill light mounts for a John Deere tractor.

Only had a rough ~2" square dimension to work with, so added a little tolerance and a hinge pin to wrap around the bar. 0.5 mm gap on the pad eyes clamped perfectly, and the molded-in zip tie loop kept the wiring tidy. Used the OEM lighting circuit, but replaced the corroded spade connectors with a new deutsch DTM plug powering a pair of work lights.

Before-and-after lighting shots, and a happy client, riding off into their own sunset.

New and improved, and coming soon to your favorite greens shops! We took customer feedback to tweak the design - reducing the amount of material used and improving the grip on the plant base, all while keeping it satisfyingly stack-able with the lids you already have.

Experiments with 3D printing "tin" whistles. Loving the Bronze Metal-Filled PLA from ProtoPasta. Apologies in advance to my household for the nervezfraying sounds of someone learning a wind instrument.

Sometimes a design just needs a little help. New fire camera cradle came with a velcro strap, but that's not very rapid-deployment-friendly. A few sketches, a few prototypes, and now a very satisfying fit. Snaps right into place, provides for swcure mounting, and keeps it charged and ready for service.

Wild patterns, mathematic precision, and a satisfying *snap* when the links lock into place. These were a great challenge to design and very rewarding to get right.

The positive feedback and popular demand for these has been overwhelming and very rewarding, and it is great to hear about how long people's greens have been lasting at home.

So excited to announce that these perfect little plant holders are finally done, and the first batch is on sale now at ! Appreciate the support and input of everyone as we got the details right!

Custom-designed to fit wide-mouth Mason jars, these hold their plant plugs securely, giving you weeks of extra greens. A hole in the top allows refilling without removing the lid, and two pockets are provided for chopsticks or skewers to support fragile herbs.

These are made of durable black ABS (same plastic as Legos), but I'll be experimenting with more colors soon! Check in here, or at Anchorage Greens when you pick up your veggies!

(And thanks to for the stunning cover photo!)

Quality handmade goods for everyday life

Greetings from Sunshine Alley! After graduating from the California Maritime Academy, I moved to a cozy, flower-lined street in the nearby Heritage District and began creating handmade projects in my home shop for friends and family. It is now my pleasure to share this work with local customers like you.

Every piece you see is based on my own designs, which reflect clean lines, function-forward aesthetics, and timeless style. I combine these with high-quality, durable materials to ensure that your purchase will provide many years of use for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone special in your life.

I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future projects!
