Fall is officially here and so are our fall hours! We are now open five days a week, Wednesday-Sunday, we can enjoy some much needed days off.

Of course, our website is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For we are excited to share that we have just put a bunch of fabric on sale. It’s all 25% off for some really fantastic fabric!

Why are we putting fantastic fabric on sale? We have new fabric coming in and we have to make room for it! So gorgeous fabric that’s been hanging around for a little while is getting discounted.

These discounts are only good in the store and not online. Sorry! But we aren’t sorry that we will get a chance to see ya’ll when you come see us!

It's October which means it's time to get your ta-ta's screened for Breast Cancer Awareness month. One in eight U.S. women will experience breast cancer in their lifetimes making it more common than we want. The good needs is that if you catch it early, your outcomes are waaaay better.

So we want to encourage everyone to get your ta-ta's screened this month. If you do it and bring by any kind of documentation (we are not the DMV--we just want you to get a mammogram) we will give you 10% off your next purchase through October 31st.

So ladies, go get your ta-ta's checked!

October is Breast Cancer
Awareness Month! 1 in 8 women in the US will have breast cancer in their lives. At Cabin Fever, breast cancer has touched some of us very personally so we want to be a part of helping others.

For the final day of we are encouraging you to get your votes in and sharing one of our favorite fat bear quilts.

In our "Taste of Alaska" quilt kit you'll get everything you need to make the front of this quilt featuring a sow and her cub as they try to get as fat as they can for winter. The fabrics are all laser cut with fusible applique so you can iron them on. You put them on together on the background fabrics and iron! Then you add the back, batting and binding, and quilt it together.

If you want to get fancy you can add details in your quilting which can be done on a machine or even by hand. You could even embroider or bead on top of the fabric, but it's equally beautiful as it is.

We believe that everyone can quilt and want to make it as approachable as possible to make your own quilt art. Think of this as paint by number for quilting!

Fat Bear Week continues with one of our favorite Fat Bears! The Alaska Mosaic Bear Quilt kit was designed by Small Pond Designs for Cabin Fever. We hand select the fabrics for all 71 of the laser cut pieces and include the patter, directions and the fabrics for the background, border and binding in this quilt.

It's customizable in all sorts of ways--swap out the background or border fabric, add embroidery or beads, you name it. The good news is that the laser cut pieces all have fusible webbing on them so all you have to do is arrange them and then iron them in place. We've done the hard work so you can spend more time enjoying your quilt.
