As our Creative Director, Kelsi has been a driving force behind so many of SALT’s design projects. She has a true gift for bringing spaces to life, whether she’s working her magic with finishes, textures, furniture, accessories, 3D renderings, or graphic design. Basically, if it needs to look amazing, Kelsi is your person.

We are so lucky to have her talent, creativity, and leadership on our team — and even luckier to have the wonderful human behind it all.

When she’s not creating beautiful things at SALT, you can find Kelsi curled up with a good book and her two dachshunds, traveling somewhere new with her husband, or tending to her garden and many houseplants.

Kelsi, you are truly a gem, and we are so thankful for the last 12 years with you. Here’s to a bright future, more beautiful designs, and many more adventures ahead!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS — A Historic Milestone for Interior Design in Alaska!

Alaska has officially become the 31st state and 33rd U.S. jurisdiction to enact reasonable regulation of the interior design profession.

This important achievement recognizes the qualifications of interior designers and expands their ability to contribute meaningfully to the design and construction process.

This is a major step forward for Alaska’s design community and for the continued recognition of interior designers as qualified professionals whose work supports health, safety, and welfare in the built environment.

Seeing a space before it is built can make all the difference. ✨

At SALT, 3D renderings are one of the design services we offer to help clients visualize key elements of a project before final decisions are made. While not every project requires renderings, they can be a valuable tool for exploring layout options, reviewing finishes, and refining the overall aesthetic with greater clarity.

For this corporate office project, these renderings helped communicate the design vision in a way that was both practical and engaging. They supported collaboration, encouraged thoughtful feedback, and gave the client a clearer picture of how the space could come together.

It is one of the many ways we help turn ideas into intentional, well-designed environments. 🖤

“Hi! My name is Sadie Schumacher. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and I love spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, and fishing. I just completed my third year at Montana State University, where I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate degree in Interior Design. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for creating art, which led me down the design path. I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to learning from the SALT team.”
