Being part of this family's life journey has been an immensely fulfilling experience that's hard to put into words.
I had the pleasure of designing their first home 11 years ago, and since then, they’ve moved twice; welcomed a new child and added some furry friends into the mix, and yet we've continued to grow together. Although we call this place our "Forever Home," we don't know what the future holds.

Sometimes seeing the process helps to explain the work involved in redesigning an interior space. For this project, our design strategy was to take a dated, dark living room and transform it into a bright and inviting place that our client will LOVE for years to come. We were able to achieve this by making intentional furnishing & textile selections that reflect the homeowner's personal taste along with a new seating layout where family and friends can comfortably gather. A truly stunning transformation for this Simpsonville | Greenville, SC project.

Fond memories of family while growing up often times include a home where everyone gathered, a table that hosted many meals together, or a chair where a parent or grandparent read bedtime stories. It is an honor when those special pieces get passed on, and it can also be difficult to figure out how to incorporate them into your own style. Updating an heirloom piece with new fabrics and wood stain can be a creative way to recall those cherished memories of a bygone era. We chose velvets and an oriental toile to recover the chairs. The coffee became a stylish cocktail ottoman. All pieces become an intricate part of the traditional design of this home.

For over two decades, my passion has been balancing creative expression with functional practicality, whether it’s designing a whole house, or a single room – the passion is the same. Combining my early experiences working with various design studios in South Florida, and the last 15 years managing my own firm caring for clients all across the upstate of South Carolina, I can draw upon a vast breadth of experience to creating interior environments. Whoaaa…this guest bathroom reno shows just how much transformation you can do in a small space! The goal was to makeover this once dark, cramped, unattractive bathroom into a bright, open, clean space where guests can start and finish their day in stylish comfort. By removing the interior wall that separated the vanity area, and using a combination of unique and sophisticated finishes, we did just that! The new paint color, shower door, tile and fixtures also helped to style this room like the rest of the updated home.
