Iowa weather can be sudden and seems to be following the 2020 trend of surprises 😅
If you have not had your sprinkler system winterized yet and are worried about the forecast, ➡️ here are a few things you can do to help minimize things:
⚠️turn your sprinkler system water valve off in the basement
⚠️ start a cycle on your irrigation controller, this will try to remove as much water from the above ground piping as possible
⚠️ after steps 1 & 2 wrap any exterior exposed piping with a thick blanket

Reflecting still on what a wonderful team we have here at Alternative Rain! A big Thank You to our technians who have made miracles happen this irrigation season with their dedication and hard work. What was meant to be a normal change of seasons meeting this morning turned into the voicing of dreams and goals for the industry and customer relations. It was so wonderful to hear each of the technicians share different areas that they want to have an impact on and the future of the industry and how we can make a positive shift.
