Take a break and join this painting class on Saturday, August 22 from 1:00 to 2:00. Use acrylic paint to create this fun garden scene. Learn painting techniques and play with color. We’ve had some fun and creative classes in the past few months and have more planned. Here’s what is on the schedule now:

—August 24: wood carving —beginners and experienced carvers welcome
—September 5: wire-wrapped jewelry—create a necklace and earrings

The sunshine this morning makes me want to have some more glass art sun catchers. We have two artists whose work is featured at the craft gallery. One type is three-dimensional and is great on a patio or porch as well as indoors; some can sit on a surface. The other style is most often used to hang in your windows.
