Sometimes you don’t need more stuff—you just need a plan. 🙌

In under an hour, we transformed this laundry room from overwhelming chaos into a calm, functional space.

🗑️ 3 bags of trash removed
🧺 3 loads of laundry washed
✨ Clean laundry folded & put away
📦 $0 spent on organizing products
💡 Used everything my client already had on hand

The goal wasn’t perfection—it was creating a space that feels lighter, works better, and is easier to maintain.

This is an incredibly overwhelming project, but also really rewarding to see the progress. Taking on a whole home’s worth of belongings—especially after such a dramatic downsizing—is a huge job. Working on one area at a time is how I approach a space like this. Even small pockets of order can make such a big difference. Here’s to doing meaningful work!

Our guest room aka my dumping ground. Here’s a question I’ve been asking myself lately. If we were to move would I take this item with me. If the answer is no, I’m letting it go. Next project will be fresh paint, new bedding & lighting.

Why did it take me so long to get blinds for this room? Here’s why!

1. I had to measure the window frame.
2. I had to drive 7 mins. to get a new set of blinds.
3. I had to find someone & wait for them to cut the blinds.
4. I had to clean the window.
5. I had to drill holes & screw in 4 screws (actually had to do it twice because the bracket needed to be moved).
6. I had to attach the blinds.
All that and I’m still not finished. I need to get out my miter saw and cut the return on the valance. And I might end up drilling & screwing it one more time (just so it’s perfectly centered and I have room for both valance returns. Ugh, no wonder it’s taking me this long.
