Operation: Cozy Season. 🍂
A home designer I follow recently busted one of my favorite fall decorating myths: decorating for fall doesn’t mean everything has to turn orange. (Don’t worry—we still have plenty of orange around here. 😂)
The goal is really just to imitate what nature is already doing.
Things get a little darker. A little moodier. The bright greens soften. We see more brown, cream, dusty pink, olive, gold and deep wood tones.
To some, fall looks like everything is dying and turning brown. But I like to think of it as nature reminding us that it’s okay to slow down. Get cozy. Preserve a little energy.
And thankfully, that means we don’t have to get rid of everything we own and replace it with orange leaves and pumpkins. 😆
Just add a few deeper colors, warmer textures and cozy little layers to what you already have.
That’s exactly what we’re doing around Jmac right now.
Operation Cozy Season is officially underway. 🤎🍂
And yes… there are still pumpkins. Always pumpkins.
