A little honest note from my heart… After the sudden closing of Painted Tree and the unexpected shift that followed, I’ve realized I need a quieter month to breathe, reset, and find my creative rhythm again.

For June, I’ll be stepping back from regular posting and allowing myself to create more slowly, as inspiration comes. The online shop will remain open, with East Coast shipping for wreaths and Local Love Pickup here in Apex.

This past weekend, I found myself slowing down a little more and enjoying the quiet beauty right outside my window. 💚

The backyard has been especially full of life lately with bluebirds, cardinals, hummingbirds, chickadees, mourning doves, and so many sweet visitors throughout the day.

Watching them pause among the vines and throughout the courtyard has brought such a peaceful feeling to the days.

Nature continues to inspire me in so many ways. 💚

As May comes to a close, it feels like a meaningful time to pause and reflect… on home, family, gratitude, and the freedoms we often quietly enjoy each day.
Memorial Day has always held special meaning in my heart. My father lost his life during the Vietnam War before I ever had the chance to know him, and many others throughout both my family and Scott’s family have also served in the military — including my husband, who served in the Marines. ❤️🤍💙

Today, I’m especially remembering and honoring those who sacrificed for our country.

From my heart to your home 💚 This weekend I finished this one-of-a-kind botanical heart wreath thoughtfully handcrafted using layers of Dawn’s Break greenery featuring softly powdered, spear-shaped leaves with beautiful muted tones and cascading movement throughout.

Each greenery section was individually separated, wired, and carefully inserted into the stained bundle vine base by hand to create soft organic movement, depth, and a sculpted flowing silhouette. Finished with gentle shaping throughout for a refined botanical-inspired look.

An earlier smaller version I created and sold at the boutique inspired me to design this larger second interpretation — a fuller, more sculptural statement piece and the final large-scale version I will create.

While this wreath may be displayed outdoors in a well-protected covered area, I would personally recommend indoor display to help preserve its soft botanical beauty and delicate coloring.

This everyday magnolia swag came out especially full with layered greenery, soft cream magnolias, berry accents, and a sage striped ribbon.

Approximately 34–36" long and designed with lots of texture and movement for an elegant everyday look.

One of my favorite things about handmade, made-to-order designs is that no two ever come out exactly alike — each piece has its own personality while staying true to the original design.
