I started working on this beautiful doll. She is time consuming and in spite of the fact that I still can’t get the stripes right on the back (even with YouTube) I think she’s looking pretty good. I’ve already apologize to the doll for the holes in her knees 😆

I usually make my dolls with very small cotton yarn and a 2.25 hook. For my next doll I am using vintage yarn that I suppose is probably worsted weight and a size 2.75 mm hook. You can already see what a huge difference this is going to be. I can hardly wait to see how she turns out.

I have been watching YouTube video after YouTube video after YouTube video and I’m finally learning to not have that crooked seam up the back. I’m thrilled. I still have a lot of things to learn but I’m so excited when I do learn something good.
