Today I’m asking for help, not for myself, but for a friend of mine, Deborah Howlett, who is married to one of my oldest friends, Dave Howlett. Deborah was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. She has raised seven children and is a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and has been a mother to many more.

I know from personal experience that cancer-related expenses are no joke. They can place an enormous strain on a family during a time when their focus should be on loving and supporting each other.

Even if you can only give $10, any amount would be deeply appreciated. Deborah is one of the sweetest, most genuine women I have ever met.

For those who have followed my metal journey over the years, I wanted to share an update.

I’ve officially launched Wiggle Butt Society — a new direction that brings my love of metal design together with my love of dogs.

FlashBurn Designs isn’t really going anywhere. It’s simply becoming a curated collection of my favorite artisan metal pieces, now living under the Wiggle Butt Society brand so everything is in one place. The FlashBurn website now redirects to Wiggle Butt Society so you’ll find it all there. You can always ask for any of my past pieces — I’m still happy to make them for you. And of course, I continue to accept custom orders.

Wiggle Butt Society focuses on dog-inspired metal art and leash racks, along with tees, bandanas, and other fun merch built around everyday life with dogs.

✨ Happy Weekend, Facebook Friends! ✨
Kristy here with some exciting news!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on rebranding FlashBurn Designs — giving this metal art business a fresh new look and feel that’s truly mine. As many of you know, Joe has been gradually stepping away as his mobile dog grooming biz, The Sudsy Dogmobile, has really taken off! While he still helps with machine maintenance and the occasional art show, the day-to-day and 100% of the shop work has been all me this past year.

This business is my passion, and I’m thrilled to finally start shaping it to reflect that. I’m updating our website, designing a new logo, and refreshing our Facebook and Instagram pages. Next up? I’m hoping to work with some micro-influencers to help spread the word and grow our online presence!

👉 If you know of any great influencers — especially in the 2A, patriotic, or dog rescue spaces — send them my way! I’m totally open to working with anyone who loves our work and wants to help us share it with the world. 💥🐾
