From vision board to reality 🙌🏽 Client is a first-year college student who wanted my assistance in furnishing his new 700 sqft apartment. Between school and work, he doesn't have a whole lot of time to decorate, much less go shopping. So we did a walkthrough of the space - I took measurements and we discussed placement of furniture, as well as budget. I then created a vision board and sourced all the items within his budget.

One might look at this and think not much was done and his apartment still looks quite bare. My reply to that is this - all clients have different wants and needs! Some already have a direction in design that they want to follow and they'll just want my subtle input. Others have no clue where to start and want me to take the lead. For this client, he wanted the essential pieces to make the space livable. Decorating / styling and acquiring items takes time, and this is the reality / scenario for those who come to me asking for help.

And big shoutout & congratulations to this client! My first apartment certainly did not look like this nor did I have a budget to purchase real substantial furniture at his young age! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I love thrifting. It's not for everyone. And that's ok. 🙃

Hi there! I know I haven't posted much on here lately 🙈 let me fill you in! This platform is to showcase my work as an aspiring interior decorator/designer. And I've been away, so to say, being a mom! 💁🏽‍♀️ it's my favorite title and the role of a lifetime, for me. I'm raising a teenager and a toddler...a 3-year-old goldendoodle, a 2-year-old goldendoodle and a 5-month-old bernedoodle and navigating it all with my hubby. A lot is on my plate, but I'm not complaining. I'm quite grateful for everything I've got. I used to pray and hope for the things I have now so I'm humbled by the life experience and everything that's come my way thus far.

I enjoyed the summer months with my family. I prioritized and nurtured relationships that make up my inner circle. I wouldn't necessarily call any of it a break from anything interior. I just recharged the batteries to my creativity!

So thanks for being here...for following...and/or just stopping by! I appreciate it 🫶🏽 there will be a flow of content soon enough ✨
