A few exciting updates from our East Coast West Coast project 🤍

While the kitchen was already in place, we added custom counter stools as a natural extension of the living room, embracing layers of decorative motifs, painterly florals, and a bold color story of greens, blues, and magentas. Upholstered in custom performance fabrics that are both soft to the touch and highly durable, they create a focal point while adding personality and remaining family-friendly.

From concept to install, a look inside the East Coast West Coast project ✨

This family room asked for a lot. It needed to feel comfortable and durable enough for everyday life, while still bringing personality and energy into the home. That balance shaped every layer of the room, from the embroidered textiles and graphic prints to the mix of saturated color and quieter neutrals.

Seeing the Tangier Noir tile finally installed against the white fireplace surround was one of those moments where the direction of the room fully clicked into place. The navy tile, magenta shelving, and patterned fabrics each bring something distinct, but together they create a space that feels warm, collected, and deeply personal to the family who lives here.

For East Coast West Coast, the goal was to bring clarity to a range of design directions. We anchored the palette in a few meaningful artworks, giving every decision a clear reference point and streamlining choices.

In the dining room, a wisteria-inspired palette of greens and golds pairs with a burl wood table and high-gloss ceiling, setting the stage for dinner parties. That layered foundation carries into the living room, where bold built-ins, colorful drapery, and a deep velvet sofa bring in rich color and texture, while a rug weaves in key hues of the room.

Design has always been my north star. After years in management consulting and talent strategy, where I spent my time solving complex problems for CEOs, I realized I wanted to bring that same level of thoughtfulness and structure into interior design, which eventually evolved into Rosehill Design Studio.

My corporate background taught me that beautiful ideas need strong logistics to truly work. It also showed me how important clear communication is throughout a project, and how much the right relationships can shape the outcome. These lessons are the foundation of our studio, allowing us to create interiors that are not only beautiful, but also structured and tailored to how you live, work, and rest.
