2025 Hides for Heroes was an incredible success! Thank you to the hunters who donated over 1000 hides this season, totalling over an $8,000 donation to the Fergus Falls Veterans Home Activities Department!

Service members and their families will enjoy big pot bingos, gardening, and fishing trips this year thanks to the support of hunters, local businesses, volunteers, and of course, Veterans.

Ol Rubo would be so proud of the hard work and community support that helps to make Hides for Heroes a success every year. ❤️ you Gramps.

Wow! What a week at Runningen Furs! Loaded 3800 deerskins in a container on Thursday headed to China and Gage bought 73 North Dakota coyotes Saturday.

Thanks to all who helped load hides again this year!

Volunteers Needed! If you have a strong back, a good throw, and want to help load hides into a semi on Thursday, Jan 8th. in Ashby we would love some help! Also looking for additional trailers to bring the hides from the fur shop near Ashby to town for loading. If you have a trailer we could borrow or want to throw hides, even for an hour, give Erick or Larry a call or message us on FB.

We had an amazing season this year collecting over a 1000 deer hides for the Veterans Home in Fergus Falls! More details to come on final numbers. Thank you all so much! Your continued support for our local Veterans and their families means the world to us!
