The location gave us the theme. Restraint gave it the design.

The Field House sits steps from Lambeau, so ignoring game day culture was never the answer. But neither was designing a house that depended on football memorabilia to make its point.

Instead, the connection shows up in the atmosphere. The deeper palette, vintage influence, layered pattern, collected artwork and unexpected details all nod to the destination without letting one idea dominate every room.
That balance is what gives the property its identity.

It feels unmistakably Green Bay, but still like a space guests want to settle into long after the final whistle.

There’s more to Fore Fawns than what you see inside the property.

Alongside the interior design, BMI also created the visual branding and custom website for Fore Fawns, giving the property a consistent look online as well as in person.

From custom logos, fonts, and a color palette to a website built specifically around the stay, each piece gives Fore Fawns a more recognizable presence beyond the interiors.

Branding + custom website design are available as an add-on to BMI STR Design services, with the option for a direct booking website as well.

Pattern should never feel like it was added just to make a room busier.

Used well, it can give a space identity, create a stronger focal point, help a listing feel more recognizable, and make the entire property feel more intentional from one room to the next.

The key is knowing where it actually earns its place.

A wallpapered ceiling. A bold tile moment. A layered textile. A statement wall that gives the room something guests remember after they keep scrolling.

That is the difference between adding more design and building a stronger design strategy.

There is a big difference between planning early and simply starting early.

Planning early means giving the property enough space to become the right idea before it becomes a long list of purchases.

It means you can look at the investment as a whole, decide what deserves the budget, leave room for better sourcing, and build something with a clear point of view instead of making expensive decisions under pressure.

That matters whether the property is six weeks away or six months away.

September is not a deadline. It is a really good opportunity to get ahead of the next one.

If another STR is on your radar for late 2026 or 2027, this is a smart time to start the conversation.

A pretty room can win a save. A strategic one is built to help win the booking.

For an STR, the design has to work beyond the reveal.

It needs to photograph with impact, make sense for the way groups actually stay, create moments guests remember, and give the property an identity strong enough to compete without depending on a trend.

That is where the right design partner changes the equation.

At Brianna Michele Interiors, we look at the property as an investment first. Market positioning, guest experience, visual impact, functionality, and long term relevance all have a seat at the table from day one.

The finished space should be beautiful.

But it should also be doing something for the business behind it.

We say “Book your free consultation” often, but there’s a reason we keep inviting you to take that first step.

A consultation is the first chance to talk through the property, where you are in the process, what you are trying to accomplish, and where you may need support.

You do not need to come in with every decision made.

You might have a property already purchased, a concept you are still shaping, a timeline you are trying to make sense of, or simply questions about what working with BMI could look like.

The goal is to give the project context before anything else.

We can talk through your priorities, the direction you are considering, where design can have the most impact, and whether BMI is the right fit for what you are building.

Because sometimes the most useful next step is not another round of research.

It is a conversation with someone who understands STR design, guest experience, and what it takes to turn a property into something intentional.

A pool may be the amenity guests notice first.

But the opportunity is in everything built around it.

Shade where people actually need it. Enough seating for the full group. Places to gather that do not compete with the water. Lighting that keeps the space usable after sunset. Design details that make the entire area feel intentional, not simply added on.

Because adding a pool is one decision.

Designing a pool area that photographs well, functions for the reservation, and gives the property more to offer is a completely different one.

The strongest outdoor spaces are not built around a checklist of amenities. They are built around how guests will actually use them.

That is where design starts doing more than making the property look good. It starts making the property work harder.

Just steps from Lambeau Field, this property already had one of the strongest advantages an STR can have: location.

For the Founders Suite, we wanted the interiors to make just as much of an impression.

Football history shows up through vintage inspired artwork, collected details, and subtle references to Titletown, without turning the home into a theme. The result feels connected to Green Bay while still elevated enough to appeal beyond game day.

With four bedrooms and space for up to 12 guests, the home also needed to work for groups. Generous gathering spaces, a private hot tub, covered outdoor dining, a finished garage, and a balcony overlooking the stadium district give guests plenty to experience beyond where they sleep.

For investors, a recognizable destination may bring guests to the market. The property still has to give them a reason to choose your listing.

The opportunity for your next STR might not be another bedroom, another amenity, or another beautiful design.
It might be the thing your market does not have yet.

The properties that stand out are not created by looking at what is already performing and copying it. They come from understanding the competitive landscape, identifying where there is room to offer something better or different, and building a clear concept around that opportunity.

That is where strategy starts shaping the design.

The layout. The amenities. The visual direction. The moments that make the listing memorable. Each decision should help reinforce the position you want that property to own in its market.

Because a well-designed STR should not just look good when it launches.

It should make sense as an investment.

The best STR design decisions rarely come with one universal answer.

King beds or double queens? Aesthetic impact or everyday function? The right choice depends on the market, the guest count, the room itself, and how the property needs to perform.

Part 2 of 21 Questions gives you a closer look at the thinking behind every BM project, from the spaces we love designing most to the small bedroom details that make a stay feel more considered.

Part 3 is coming next. Which answer surprised you most?
