Appalachian Crafts has now reopened at Suite 137 in the Grove Arcade!!
We look forward to customers old and new coming to shop with us in our new surroundings! Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday, Noon - 6. Our phone number is the same: 828-253-8499, and, of course, we still carry only hand made North Carolina pottery, and other crafts from the region. Welcome your visit and purchases!

Greetings loyal customers and friends of Appalachian Crafts. Our 44 year old business has temporarily closed. This move was driven by an economy beset with COVID, floods and a hurricane in WNC. Meanwhile, our building was sold. So we have moved our stock and accessories to a warehouse. When a suitable space opens in downtown we will seriously consider reopening. But if an interested party wishes to purchase our inventory and associated equipment, then we must also consider that option.
For the moment, we want to thank all of our customers for our success.
