Bowl Sound And Craft He supported his family of five kids by selling the Himalayan salt. He was the first man ever to introduce Singing Bowls in Kathmandu city, Thamel.

Back in 1960 Kashi Ram Tamang from a small village located in Himalayan region of Nepal called Nuwakot used to trek for days to get to Tibet and other small Himalayan villages and bring back Himalayan salt. While visiting different villages he also collected rare jewelries, shamanic drums, metal bowls and other handicrafts. In 1980s he moved to Kathmandu valley with his family and started selling

his handpicked collections of authentic and antique goods in a street shop at Basantapur, a very popular tourist area.
