Impromptu post as I’m waiting for my internet to restart. Here are some lighter moments that recently made me smile. 1) today Bodhi decided to help with carpet selection 2) cute pic of Mom, Charlotte and I from over the holidays and 3) the awesome and fun modern Lego house Santa brought to Charlotte (and me) ☺️ Peace and love to all in 2025.

A peek into the upper and lower-level design development at The Family Farmhouse.⁠

Starting with the concept, we gather materials, inspiration images, hardware, and lighting to create a snapshot of the overall look and feel.⁠
⁠
Next, design elevations rendered in selected materials illustrate to the client every angle and element in the space. We'll add detailed dimensions later at the Documentation stage, but for now, it’s all about diving into the functionality and design of the space with our clients!⁠

Finally, nothing sells the vision quite like a 3D render 🤩⁠

More site snaps from this project that's been about two years in the making! Dubbed the RAD Cottage for its River Arts District locale, it has been a pleasure to create a warm and joyful short-term rental full of color, elegance, and a true sense of place (how ✨ is that mural?!) We are still not complete but so nearly there that we couldn't help but put together some furniture!

Transforming spaces like this is what we live for! Conversion of a family basement in the River Arts District into an uber-convenient hideaway for the modern Airbnb traveler. Reuse, adding value, and longevity became the three guiding principles for the budget-conscious clients, and were rigorously applied across the selections for furnishings, art, and accessories. ⁠

The reconfigured layout, fresh paint, and cork flooring allow natural light to filter throughout, making the compact apartment feel airy and spacious.⁠ The result is an apartment that feels local and lively.⁠

The space turns heads on Airbnb and guests rave about the comfort and design. ⁠
