Exceptional from every angle.

A documented 1940s French Art Deco sideboard by A. Bicchierini of Marseille, defined by extraordinary scale, richly figured burl veneer, and its original black Portoro marble top.

At nearly 99 inches wide, the sideboard balances monumental proportions with beautifully considered details—from the symmetrical burl façade and rounded corners to the fitted interior and original maker’s plaque.

At first glance, restrained. Open it, and an entirely different story unfolds.

Drawers within drawers, hidden compartments, an original leather writing surface, and more than two centuries of beautifully preserved character. Crowned in veined marble and crafted in walnut, this late 18th-century French Louis XVI secrétaire was designed as much for discretion as it was for writing.

Some things are better kept under lock & key.
