We asked Danny, the owner of Osment Flooring & Cabinets, what he recommends for cleaning LVP floors.

His answer? “I’m anti-cleaner.”

And there’s a good reason why!

For everyday cleaning:
-Sweep or vacuum away dirt and debris
-Use warm water for mopping

For a little more cleaning power:
-Add a small amount of Dawn dish soap to warm water

For a deeper clean:
-A little vinegar diluted with water can help get LVP floors looking fresh again.

Why skip all those specialty floor cleaners? Many products marketed for LVP can eventually leave behind buildup that makes floors look dull or “mucky.”

Sometimes simple really is better!
