I’ve been out of commission for a few days now. Truth be told, I haven’t wanted to do much but curl up in bed. On August 12th we lost this sweet girl. She was 10 years old. It was quick, it was sudden and after being told by a vet that morning she would be ok and then loosing her that same night, those swing of emotions from a high to the lowest of lows has been difficult. My story has not always been easy but this fur baby got me through some of the hardest times of my life. Never wavered in her love and her devotion. Never said an unkind word. Never wounded me. She only showed me the purest, kindest loyalty and love a person could ask for. Innocence! Pure innocence! I think that’s what it boils down to. I love my fur babies 2nd only to God and the three people I share a home with. A lot of people won’t understand that and that’s ok. My hope and prayer for you is to one day find that special little creature that you feel that for. I hope they find you! I hope they show you love and loyalty in its purist form.
I’ll get back to being me soon, but right now I’m winging it. I’m getting by. I tried thrifting yesterday and broke down in a thrift store. I may get upset with prices sometimes but I’m always happy in a thrift store. Just not now and that’s ok.
This is my sweet Izzy Boo. Also known to be as “my bestie friend”. She was stubborn sometimes, loved belly rubs, always found a spot in the house to burrow. Especially in blankets and pillows. She could sit, lay down, roll over, wave bye bye, shake, spin, dance and speak. You couldn’t say the word “ride” in front of her or even spell it without her running to the door. I could go on forever, but for right now she’s just missed. Deeply!
