I started this x Bucilla tree skirt last summer. It sat in a box, waiting for the green pieces to be attached to the red felt and it was so daunting.

But yesterday I decided to finish it so I could throw out the box.

I chose to leave the small edge of red peeking out from under the green, mainly because my pieces never line up right, but also because I think it looks cute.

Now to toss a box and get a table because I’m not using it as a tree skirt. It’ll be on a small round table. Love seeing these pieces finished!

I love hearing from customers when they receive their custom handwriting pieces. They are one of my favorite things to do, because each one is special in its own way. Tracing the lines of the unique handwriting with thread feels intimate and personal. I’m grateful for people who trust me with preserving their memories.
