3/3 | In the lounge, we carried the bar’s language through like a gold thread: the fluted curve of the sofa back echoing the fluted brass and sculpted cutout at the bar, weaving the spaces together while each keeps its own voice. And yes, that sink-in sectional is dangerously comfy—perfect for movie nights, long conversations, and “one more episode.”

To our clients, thank you for inviting us back to dream bigger (the ultimate compliment). And to the talented craftspeople who made this possible—thank you for turning audacity into precision.

Being here in Japan, a place I’ve imagined for so long, brings me back to what I love most: an uncompromising commitment to craft. It reminds me great design begins with curiosity and a little rebellion!

2/3 | Cutting-edge design doesn’t happen by playing it safe. It happens when you see limits as suggestions. This bar? Let’s just say it wasn’t supposed to be possible. 😉 But when we design, “impossible” is where the fun starts. The arched bar, the sculpted cutout, every inch pushed craftsmanship to its edge. We obsessed over it all: the exact tone of the wood stain, the way the limewash diffuses light across brass and mirror, the balance of boldness and restraint.
