☀️ I’m gonna have a few new lil cuties at the East Atlanta Strut tomorrow, including this one. (Swipe to see refraction magic 🤩) So if you’re in the Atlanta area, come see me and my stained glass and all my friends’ beautiful art and eat some food and drink some drinks and watch some bands and be joyful.
🌼 This will be my 7th Strut, and it’s really the only market I do anymore, and it’s the best day of the year! I’m so excited to see all my Danielle Giles friends and customer friends and new friends I haven’t met yet.
📍 I’ll be the 5th booth down outside of Argosy in the Argosy/Earl lot. We’ll be there until 10PM and the weather will be gorgeous so you have no excuses not to come! 😅
💖If you’re not in Atlanta, I’ll probably do a stories sale next week with leftovers. And any leftovers from that will live in the windows at ATL Glassworks until they find a home.

Not gonna lie, I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump lately. It’s been a stressful year. I’m tired. I’m too busy running a stained glass store to actually make stained glass as much as I want to. But I am prepping for the EAV Strut at the end of the month and I’ve been having fun revamping older patterns. I think that’s helping pull me out of the slump. I think these new designs are fun. I have a few other iterations in the works. Swipe to the last image to see the original design from 2022.

I made this nice little (18x24”) window for a newlywed couple. A pretty traditional design but you know I loooooove waterglass and think playing with the direction of the grain adds a lot of interest. That refraction.. 🤌🤌🤌

If you ever see me working on something in my stories, you might possibly see it on the grid in 8-24 months. 😂
I cut this out last summer and finally finished it about two months ago, and finally took pictures today. The combination of the mouthblown glass and waterglass makes me swoon. Stained glass is so magical. Swipe for the refractions 😭

This is my favorite window in . Isn’t it dreamy?
I love stained glass and I really love a sample set. The big girl I finished last week has all of my favorites from the Stipple sample set. The little mama sitting on the window sill has all my favorites from the English Muffle sample set.

The textured clear bevel panel and cutie lil plant stakes were also made by me ages ago and the little bevel house was a gift from my friend . Special thanks to for taking care of all the plants and making sure they don’t die. 😘

I really really wanted to make the big F**k Everything panel in these colors but that seemed insane so I settled for the little wavy gal. I love her. I love you. I hate everything else. 😘

Self Portrait.
This is what I feel like when I look in the mirror. I could type out a whole novel of reasons why, but I won’t. Just know that there’s a lot of pride, fear, sadness, joy, gratitude and exhaustion in those squiggles and it was so cathartic for me to make it. I don’t really know what to do with this panel now that it’s done. I’ve considered smashing it but then that seems wasteful. For now it will hang in the office at my shop, silently judging me and probably creeping me out a bit until I decide to wrap it up and keep it in storage until I die. Maybe someone will buy it for $50 at my estate sale.
Anyway, it was really fun to make. Let me know if you’d like me to squiggle your face!

I don’t know when I’ll have something new I can share with you, so let’s just repost this baddie for the umpteenth time. Big Mama, my favorite for years. I made her in 2021 and had her foreverrrrrrr before someone bought it and I was so sad when I shipped her off. If you bought her please share pics with me! How’s she’s doing?
