✨👩🏽‍🦱💔 THE MURDER OF DAVID CARTER — MELVINDALE, MICHIGAN — SEPTEMBER 2018 💔👩🏽‍🦱✨

😡 39-year-old David Carter vanished from his Melvindale, Michigan home in September 2018. Days later, drivers on I-75 near Hancock, Ohio made a gruesome discovery: his body dismembered, stuffed into garbage bags, and scattered along the highway.

🔫 Police say the killer was his own girlfriend, Tamera Renee Williams. Authorities allege she shot David, chopped his body apart, and dumped the pieces along the road like trash.

🚨 On December 20, 2018, a felony warrant was issued charging Williams with:

First-degree homicide

Disinterment of a dead body

Tampering with evidence

Felony firearm offenses

✈️ Instead of facing justice, Tamera bolted in October 2018 and has been on the run ever since.

🕵🏽‍♂️ The U.S. Marshals now have her on their 15 Most Wanted Fugitives list, with a $25,000 reward for tips leading to her arrest. They call her armed and dangerous.

👀 Williams is described as 5’5”, 190 pounds, with a large rose tattoo on her upper left arm. She has worked as a phlebotomist and travel agent, and has ties to Brooklyn, New York and Atlanta, Georgia.

💸 Investigators believe she’s had help. Her mother, Verdine Day, a former Detroit Fire Department official, was convicted of embezzling money from the firefighters’ union. Authorities suspect Day may have funded Tamera while she’s been hiding.

📺 This case has gone nationwide — featured on America’s Most Wanted, In Pursuit with John Walsh, and Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries. Yet, six years later, Tamera is still free.
