Gift and Garden store! Home Store! Landscape/ Hardscape design and installation! Her daughter Ashley was born in 1986; you can see her at the shop sometimes!

Everything you see at the store and on the website has been selected, designed and/or built by our team. Lisa relentlessly scours our world for new interesting items and ideas to bring to the shop and your home. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she grew up in the Dayton area and graduated high school in Centerville. She worked as a receptionist to start, quickly moving into a property management role. She at

tended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She worked at various large interior design firms around the east coast and finally settled in Atlanta. Advancing quickly, she worked in hotel interior design and in 1998 started her own firm, Studio L, designing and purchasing hotel interiors across the country and beyond. At the same time, she opened a retail store in Buckhead, vignettes. After a few years of torturous work 7 days a week, she decided to take a break and slow down for a while. She’s now doing her life’s passion; gardening. Always a gardener, she learned growing up from her grandmother and parents. The shop is named after her father’s mother, who had a knack for growing about anything. She had fourteen children and lived by herself, tending her garden until she was 94. Lisa’s home is a plentitude of plants, garden structures and water features and was on the Sandy Springs Garden Tour in 2008. Not unlike the store is now. Full of energy and bursting with ideas, she’s looking forward to working with people in Sandy Springs for years to come!

To all our loyal customers:

After much reflection and mixed emotions, the time has come for us to say goodbye to our retail shop.

Landscaping, maintenance and installation services will continue as usual, as well as container plantings and refreshes. You can still place container orders with Lisa and Silvia, who will be on site most days. However, please note that visits to the shop are now by appointment only.

It’s the time of year where our gardens probably are getting a little leggy, overheated and just not looking their best. I feel the same!🤪

But not to worry, we’ve got a bunch of new annuals to put some life back into your garden and get you through until fall planting begins! Including these PW Blue My Mind dwarf morning glories! It’s pretty rare to find a flower that true of a blue, so they will make a very unique addition!💙
