Yesterday’s Open Table turned into a little show-and-tell! 🧶

Joni, our very own Knitting Fairy 🧚🏻‍♀️ , and Kathy, our #1 Needle Nook Ambassador, showed off their PetiteKnit Sunday Tees—both knit in malabrigoyarn Sock. Same pattern, two completely different looks, and both so good!

And Hayden came in with pair #11 of his Year of Socks! Just look at those colors and all that detail. Also in malabrigoyarn sock 👀🧦

Part 2 of how I like to wet block! 🧶

After a good soak, I gently squeeze out the water—no wringing! Then I roll the garment in a towel and stomp on it to press out the extra moisture. Yes, stomp. 😄

Next, I lay it on my blocking mat, ease it into shape, and secure it with blocking combs and T-pins. Then comes the hardest part: leaving it alone until it’s completely dry!

Some surprises never get old. Elizabeth Zimmermann dreamed up the Baby Surprise Jacket in 1968, and knitters are still having that “wait…that becomes a jacket?” moment. 🧶

Stuart S. made his in Baby Blossom DK, and look how beautifully it turned out! It’s knit in one piece, then just two seams bring it all together. EZ even gave it extra room across the back for a diaper.

Now the real question: which color of Baby Blossom DK will you pick when you come to the Nook?
