Curtain design and the art of combining fabrics to create a stylish, cozy home is more than just my work—it is the love of my life.
But I have another passion that also involves decoration, though this time for the table. I create napkin rings. Every new set brings a rush of adrenaline because I work with such exquisite materials, and the possibilities are endless: pearls, lava, silver, beads, metal, coral, and various semi-precious stones.

In this post, I want to tell you about the praises of Roman blinds. Only the real ones, made of fabric, not plastic. Roman blinds are an alternative to standard blinds and a departure from the norm. Let's be honest, blinds in our homes and apartments are a way to save time and mental energy, because we already have so many daily tasks that we don't have time to think about curtains or matching colors, for example, the curtains, upholstery of the furniture, and the chairs at the dining table. Or you could do what they do in hotels and use the same fabric for everything. My friends, you have so much to look forward to! Because when you realize that creating your home for yourself, choosing textures, designs, and colors, is a huge pleasure, and once it's finished, you will enjoy and appreciate your home as a work of art. So, Roman blinds are a lifesaver for those who, while saving space, want to make their interior individual and stylish and escape from the cold, standard office blinds. In the photos you will see Roman blinds in different interiors from famous textile brands Nina Campbell, Gaston & Daniela and from my own laundry room, where I used fabric Brunschwig & fils. I believe that all the rooms in the house deserve to be individual and bring you joy.

One my friend commented under my latest post that colorful and bright interiors aren't for everyone.
That's a very common opinion, and I’m not going to argue with it.
Instead, I’ll just share some stylish monochrome interiors.
And separately, I want to highlight the role of curtains.
Windows are the very first thing we notice when entering a house, an apartment, or a studio.
That’s why it matters so much how we “dress” our windows:
— minimally (blinds)
— luxuriously (velvet, silk)
— stylishly (linen, wool). You understand that this division is quite conditional
And if we agree that the first impression of a person is formed by their clothes…
can’t we say exactly the same thing about our home?

The company where I was the art director was the exclusive supplier of decorative fabrics to Europe's top-tier editors houses, and to add, we also carried Jim Thompson, the Thai king of silks.
Representatives from companies would come to our showroom to present new collections and their main message was – don't be afraid of bright colors and large patterns!
In the photos you can see Tony Duquette's house after restoration by Hutton Wilkinson. And then, Jim Thompson created a collection of decorative fabrics in collaboration with Hutton Wilkinson, dedicated to Tony Duquette.

On January 1st, I was thinking about what to suggest to my friends and clients—how to quickly refresh their home and bring in fresh air along with the joy of renewal.
The magical phrase that came to mind is “accent wall.” It's a fantastic thing if you know how to use it properly!
Wallpaper on just one wall—for example, behind the headboard in the bedroom or on the wall with the fireplace in the living room. And of course, the right combination with fabrics will create the perfect effect. You can achieve a very individual, very stylish, very “personal” interior.
In these photos, you'll see designs from the Spanish brand Tres Tintas - Wallpaper and the British Harlequin Fabrics and Wallcoverings—these are truly cutting-edge collections. If you ever spot wallpapers and fabrics from these brands at your friends' homes, I'm sure you'll notice that their decorators (and therefore your friends themselves) have boldness and wonderful taste.
