Honored to be quoted in , in an article about decorating rules you can officially stop following.

My contribution: a home packed with antiques and heirlooms can quietly become a time capsule. Every piece deserves to be seen, and that doesn’t happen when everything is competing at the same frequency.
The fix isn’t editing out the old. It’s pairing it with something unexpected. An Art Deco bar cart next to a clean-lined midcentury sofa. A Brutalist concrete lamp beside a gilded Regency mirror. The contrast is what makes each piece legible again.

is my happy place, honored to be included in roundup of why designers love this affordable hotspot.

When a project gets to that last 10% and we’ve already invested in original art, custom pillows, and one-of-a-kind pieces, sometimes you just need a $50 tray that looks like $500.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yes, there’s plenty of tacky trash to wade through. But finding a Missoni throw tucked in the clearance aisle with eight security sensors on it? Deal-loving chills.

My third pick is , they were already on my list because I’ve used their hardware on projects before and I knew they’d deliver. The Jasper Collection switch plates in heritage brass with those studded details? That is a finished room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Bobbin k**b in light blue is already on order for my next project. Hardware is where a kitchen or bath goes from fine to intentional.

Second Designhounds pick: . The Tenon pendant with its black walnut accents and lacquered brass finish is the kind of piece that reads as intentional from every angle. And that chandelier with the curved arms and saucer cups? Sculptural in the best way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Real materials make a difference. You can always tell.

Most fire pits look like afterthoughts. This one looks like architecture.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My first pick is the Cinta by . That sculpted wave form is patented, and it reads as a design decision rather than a furniture purchase.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I loved the mini models on display and am already scheming on how I can incorporate one of those fountains with the fun colors in my next project.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your outdoor spaces deserve this level of intention.

I’m heading to Orlando as one of the at !

I’ll be hunting down the most innovative, beautifully crafted finds on the showroom floor at Design & Construction Week.

Think bold materials, unexpected textures, and anything that makes you stop and stare.

Thank you to for bringing together this incredible group of designers. I can’t wait to share what I discover.

Spent the morning at the and I’m still thinking about everything I saw. Huge thanks to the ladies of the for letting me tag along. There’s something wonderful about walking through a showhouse with realtors who truly appreciate good design and understand how it transforms a space.

The plaster work throughout the house was amazing. Walls and ceilings finished with that level of craftsmanship add the kind of depth and texture that makes a real difference in how a space feels. It’s one of those details that elevates everything around it.

And that basement mural? Absolute showstopper. It’s a perfect example of why every room deserves thoughtful design. No space should be treated as an afterthought.

But completely stole the show with a French vintage white deer mount that I can’t believe I didn’t photograph. Classic and unexpected at the same time, which is exactly what I love about mixing eras and styles.

Seeing how these designers work within traditional Atlanta style while pushing it forward is genuinely inspiring.

When your sister hosts Thanksgiving, you absolutely take photos of the powder bath you just finished.

We gave this small space major personality with Mardgomma wallpaper (because guests deserve cute woodland animals to look at), updated the lighting with sconces and overhead that actually makes you want to wash your hands, and painted the vanity, trim and ceiling a moody shade that ties the whole thing together.

The best part? Every single guest commented on this room. That’s the power of committing to a design choice instead of playing it safe.
Sometimes the smallest room makes the biggest impact.

POV: Your guests are arriving next week and you just remembered your “guest room” is actually a junk room with a bed (yikes!)

Here’s the truth: most guest rooms are either neglected or over-styled. Neither one makes people feel welcome.

What your guests actually need:
→ Good sleep (quality mattress + bedding)
→ Light control (layered lighting, blackout curtains)
→ A place for their stuff (clear some closet space!)
→ Small comforts (water carafe, charging stations, fresh towels)

I pulled together examples of our guests rooms 🛏️

At every design choice was made to bring the owner’s vision to life—creating a space where wellness, movement, and aesthetics work in perfect harmony. ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the main fitness area, the ceilings were lofted to flood the space with natural light, setting the tone for an open and energizing atmosphere. 💡 We collaborated with to design custom room dividers—versatile enough to transition seamlessly between group fitness and Pilates—wrapped in x Connect pattern, a bold statement of interlocking hands—an sign of connection, support, and strength that extends far beyond these walls.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each space is a thoughtful fusion of function and unexpected delight—the Powder Bath wallpaper seamlessly ties into the new logo’s palette, while the custom bench cushion and pillows in the Lobby invite you to pause and soak in the details. And at the entrance, the chandelier and sconces set the tone—a warm, welcoming statement that instantly draws you in. ✨
