The founder and creator of joins us this Friday to sign copies of Sunny Side Up, with his new puppy in tow. The book gathers a season of hot weather recipes. Lazy lunches in the garden. Breakfasts that stretch into brunch. Dinners that start outside before the light softens.

Tomorrow we're throwing a festival for the tomato.

The Festival of Tomatoes arrives at the Bella Cucina Store x Studio this Sunday, July 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be a tasting table of local heirloom varieties, antipasti built around vine-ripened tomatoes, and Bella's Bloody Marys poured while you browse. Take home a variety basket, large or small, a round of cherry tomatoes, or fresh flowers and bouquets from the table.

Come hungry, stay for the conversation, and leave with the makings of your own tomato festa at home.
