The story of what people say about flamingos caring for their children was shared to me by Taylor Bishop, and I thought it was such a beautiful thing.
The story: "As the flamingo uses up every ounce of energy from loving and caring for their chick, its bright color fades as they become more drained. But eventually, the pink feathers return as their babies start growing up and becoming more independent."
I'm so glad I was able to create the cutest, but most meaningful piece for her.
