Sylvia's Vintage

Directions

Sylvia's Vintage Mid-century modern has my heart, but I cannot resist a quirky or unique find with a cool story, so my style is bit more eclectic!

Visit my booths at Vintage Redeemed in Downtown Auburn, CA, and Antique Trove (aisle E, #81) in Roseville, CA.

Flair! One of my favorite things to look for at estate sales are button collections. Such an interesting snapshot of a moment in life. My favorite in this batch is "Save The Whales."

Picture it. The year was 1987, and my embellished jean jacket was magnificent. My collection of flair was unmatched in the seventh grade, thanks to a plethora of vintage rhinestone pins from my grandma. 💖✨🙂 I rounded out the mix with iron on patches and sequined shapes. My favorite was the ice cream cone. Fast-forward four decades (!!!!) and the remaining ice cream cones were still in my sewing kit. It's time to pass the torch. You can find them at Vintage Redeemed🍦💕

Absolutely, whole heartedly agree. Also, antiquarian is my new favorite word❤️

I haven't posted much lately. May and June have been a whirlwind. My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly, and with no time to catch our breath, we prepared for our son's high school graduation and his birthday. Bittersweet. We took a family trip to Chicago, making memories and savoring time together.
Back at home, I'm getting back to a routine and it feels good to get my hands on piece of furniture. Work in progress: petite Swedish modern chest of drawers from the 1950s.
