Macsson Makes is a small business that creates custom, hand-crafted wooden gifts and more. After serving three tours in Iraq, Joey developed issues with his feet that required corrective surgery. Due to complications from the surgery years later, Joey started to have difficulties working outside the home. To help keep his mind right, Joey began woodworking, a hobby his grandfather and he shared. T

his hobby that turned into a passion saved Joey's life. After a few years of really looking into the future and what Joey and his wife want to do, Jennifer decided to step away from her full-time job to grow their business, be a stay-at-home Mom to their two boys, and learn more about homesteading. Joey puts a lot of research, time, and passion into every piece made. Patrons who have a taste for quality woodworking would agree that shopping local small business truly gets you the finest, built-to-last goods. In addition, Macsson Makes aims to have an environmental awareness for the community and chooses items that best represent their community. From types of birds to local community hobbies, each item we choose to create gets the attention to detail and care that big box stores cannot provide. Our goal is to make pieces that will last longer, be more environmentally friendly, and help make our community a better place to live and raise a family.
