Great design has SO much to do with your own style. Find a designer like me who will work with your style, not the one that they love to do over and over, but with your likes and dislikes! It’s true there are items that go out of style but I’ve never found a situation where we couldn’t work with at least 1 piece that was out of style, it makes it a more eclectic, interesting space!

To make this space truly amazing the next steps would be to move on to carefully chosen coffee mugs, platters and glassware to show off at the bottom of the cabinetry as well as a fabulous rug and dining table decor....but come on...how great is this!?!! Thank you so much to for creating this beautiful cabinet unit I designed!

Tile has definitely NOT gone out of style when it comes to kitchen and baths, but putting stone on the wall, be it marble, quartz or granite is Very in! I love this image as it has the pure white countertops underneath it. Many times you'll simply continue your marble, granite, quartz up the wall from your countertops, but breaking up like this one with the white countertop is really great for contrast and to keep it from being too busy!

There are so many beautiful rugs out there, don't just settle for something in the first 10 you see, ask a designer to choose one that is based on your preferences, colors, and style! Have you ever thought about what your interior decor says about you? A beautiful vase, candles, books they can say many things including "cozy home", but those personal items? The sculpture of your family in abstract, a moment from a vacation, pictures in beautiful or fun and color frames, these things add so much to your home making it truly yours. Recognizable when others walk into your home and comment on your decor.

As an interior making this personal is what I do, yes, everyone has a style and it may be similar to someone else's, but everyone's style is also unique in certain ways, and everyone's life experiences is unique. Let's celebrate it!
