Sometimes one decision changes everything. When Yancey tweaked the plans for this beach house it all came down to the staircases. She needed them to carry symmetry, bring in natural light, give the space movement, and anchor everything around them. When you see it you will understand why it was worth every tweak. This is the kind of detail that makes a house feel completely thought through from every single angle. Stay tuned to see upstairs!

Line of sight, flow, connection from one end of the house to the other…Yancey changed up a previous addition, chopped off the back stairs, preserved the original doors, and added windows to make this home feel like it was always supposed to be this way.
