Lynn's Soy Scents Scented Soy Candles The soybean is one of the most versatile products used today. By using and burning soy wax, that states that your candle is truly American.

From the farmer planting the soy bean, to the refinery extracting the oil, to the person actually making the candle. Soy wax doesn't require any additives. All of my candles are made with only soy wax, fragrance oil and lead-free cotton wicks. I do not ever use dyes as they can clog the cotton wicks. My 8oz. jars last aprox. 40-60 hrs. And, my 16oz. jars last aprox. 80-120 hrs. Soy wax burns 5-8 hours per ounce. My candles have excellent burn time and fragrance throw. GO GREEN!!!!

Hello Everyone!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. I also hope everyone has a Happy,Healthy, Peaceful, Prosperous New Year. I want to Thank everyone for purchasing my candles over the years, 15 years to be exact. This was my final year. It was sooooo much fun making them and having other people enjoy them. I loved the Aurora Farmers Market and the many craft shows I participated in over the years. It has been a very FUN journey. But, after my mother passed away in February of 2013 I just lost a lot of my passion for making them as she was my little tester and helped me in many ways. I am sooo grateful for the many people I met along the way and the many longlasting friendships that I have made as well. Thank you to everyone for patronizing a small business and "going green". I'm going to try my hand at something different and that is making floral arrangements. Love to all and again have a HAPPY 2024!!!!!!

Annual Girlz Day Out Christmas Bazaar at Aurora Turners Club will be Sunday, December 3rd Noon - 4pm. Many crafters, raffles, food and drink specials. And SANTA!!! Open to the Public. Get some great last minute, one of a kind gifts for everyone on your Christmas list. :)

Hello Everyone!!! I have not posted in awhile, but I hope everyone is well and survived our awful heat this summer here in the Midwest. I just finished making some fall and holiday scents for my 2 upcoming crafts shows(yes, only two). I have one Saturday, September 23rd at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Aurora, and Sunday, December 3rd at the Aurora Turners Club. Some scents are Cherry Almond, Lighthouse Bay, Spa Day, Coffee Shop, Farmhouse Spice, and Christmas in Vermont. Hope to see some familiar faces at the shows. And, sooooo looking forward to the cooler weather and the beautiful colors coming soon. :)

Hello Everyone, its been awhile. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and remembered to take time for yourself as well. Spring is right around the corner here in the Midwest. So, I wanted to announce that I probably won't be doing a lot of craft shows, BUT, my 1st one scheduled is on Saturday, April 22nd from 9am -3pm at St. Marks Lutheran Church on Galena Blvd. here in Aurora. I will have 8oz. Jars along with scented soy wax beads for at home warmers. Since I don't sell alot of candles in the spring/summer due to homes having their windows open, I am only going to have 4 Top Sellers including.........Cherry Almond, Copper Pot Bakery, Spa Day and Lighthouse Bay. I hope everyone is staying healthy and I hope to see you soon. Have a Great Weekend and THINK SPRING!!!! :)

Hello everyone. This the season to be running around like crazy getting last minute gifts for loved ones, but don't forget to relax and enjoy the season as well and take time for yourself. Our Annual Girlz Day Out event at the Aurora Turners Club is this Sunday, November 6th from Noon -3pm. Come out and find some Great Handmade Gifts for Christmas and Loads of Stocking Stuffers. Tomorrow Saturday, September 24th I have my 1st craftshow of the season. 8:30am until 2pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on the corner of Galena Blvd and Edgelawn in Aurora. Lots of crafters/vendors including Tastefully Simple, Colorstreet, and Avon. Hope to see some familiar faces. :)
