My first priority in a primary bedroom? Coziness. For me, my bedroom is an escape from the chaos of life. It’s a place where I can snuggle with my cats and just breathe a bit easier.

Sharing my own home may be the hardest and most vulnerable of all the reveals. But when it comes down to it, this is 100% me. I’m not trying to follow trends or do what I think a client would love. Instead I am just leaning into what makes me feel happy and at peace. For me, light and airy with a touch of organic and texture is just so incredibly timeless. For my kitchen, I recently changed the lighting, hardware, plumbing fixtures, I wrapped the beams in white oak, and I added some cutie counter stools. What do y’all think?

I made a vision board yesterday with some friends and the experience was quite beautiful. I didn’t really set an intention before I started. I just kind of grabbed photos or words that I was drawn to. My favorite quote on the board said “you didn’t come this far to only come this far.” I just felt that so much. Like in every single part of my life, but mostly from an emotional growth standpoint. I have come a really long way, but I can’t give up. Real progress is slow and steady and I just need to keep moving forward one step at a time.
