Also, can we talk about these adorable swan vessels?! 🦢 I don’t have a massive inventory of vessels and décor, so when a client has something unique they’d love to incorporate, I’m always here for it. Vintage finds, family heirlooms, quirky little treasures — if you provide it, we’ll flower it.

Hello, October! Nice to see you again. 🍂

I can feel the summer seasonal depression leaving my body, and I couldn’t be more excited for cooler temps and rain in the forecast.

Signing off this weekend to be fully present with friends and family. There will be gumbo, fry bread, lots of laughs, and hopefully a little dancing in the rain.

A little shoutout to our friends Kayli | Head West Floral Round Top Florist — this beautiful arch was created for their open house last week at the gorgeous T + H Farms. 🤍

Marigold season is upon us. 🧡

Luckily, my farmer is growing me a lot of them. 😉 I can’t get enough of their scent, texture, and those warm, rich fall tones.

And beyond their beauty, I love the history and symbolism they carry—especially their connection to Día de los Mu***os, where cempasúchil (marigolds) have long been used to honor and remember loved ones.

A flower with texture, fragrance, color, and meaning? Yes, please.

Promise I haven’t abandoned this account. 😂

I genuinely dislike this time of year—especially when we’re in the middle of a heat wave. I tend to retreat into my air-conditioned cave and patiently wait for cooler temperatures to arrive. 🫠

So, a little advice if you’re planning a wedding: pay attention to the weather. If you’re miserable, chances are your guests and vendors are feeling it, too.

And just imagine how the flowers feel. 😅🌸

Heat is tough on everyone—and flowers are no exception. When choosing your date, timeline, ceremony location, and even your floral design, the weather is worth considering. Your wedding day should feel beautiful and comfortable, not like an endurance sport.

Now… if you need me, I’ll be in my cave waiting for fall. 🍂
