Today we celebrate the birth of our mentor. Larry Peel was a leader in the multifamily industry, starting in the 1970’s at Jagger and Associates, Inc. He put time and effort into the design of a project, scrutinizing unit layouts and building placements to save trees. To the 1994 Pillars of the Industry Award winner, and our inspiration—Happy Birthday, Larry.

Start with a cohesive color palette, then layer different scales—large, medium, and small prints—to keep things visually interesting without overwhelming the space. Ground bold patterns with simpler pieces and mix in varied textures for depth. If it feels a little unexpected (but still cohesive), you’re doing it right!
