This bacon pepperoni pizza sneaks extra protein into the dough to achieve perfect macros. It's not a deep dish, but if you're into round, thin crust pizza, then this is right up your alley.

The yeast-risen, high protein crust is still fluffy and springs up nicely in the oven. Use this recipe to make the dough and substitute whatever toppings you prefer.

🍕 INGREDIENTS

Dough
▢ 98 g bread flour
▢ 21 g unflavored whey protein
▢ 21 g unflavored pea protein
▢ 4.2 g vital wheat gluten
▢ 2.8 g salt
▢ 2.2 g instant yeast
▢ 98 g water

Sauce
▢ 168 g crushed tomatoes
▢ 2.9 g salt
▢ 1.6 g garlic powder
▢ 1 g dried basil

Toppings
▢ 100 g part skim mozzarella cheese
▢ 50 g fat free mozzarella cheese
▢ 14 g 2% colby jack cheese
▢ 14 g bacon, cooked
▢ 12 slices turkey pepperoni

🧇🧈🧇 61 Cal Protein Waffles recipe… & I'm not even done developing it yet 😏

Not like other protein waffles you've tried. A little all-purpose flour gives you that classic waffle taste and texture. Made extra special with collagen + prebiotic corn fiber.

Makes 8 waffles using Dash Mini waffle maker — but, in the interest of time, I highly recommend using a larger waffle maker. Purchased one the same day I made this video 😆

🧮MACROS🧮
1 waffle = 61cal, 7p, 1f, 6c
Whole batch = 940cal, 57p, 7f, 50c

🥄DRY INGREDIENTS🥄
+ 50g all-purpose flour
+ 25g unflavored protein powder (I used pea/rice blend)
+ 25g collagen peptides
+ 50g prebiotic corn fiber
+ 2.5g baking powder (1/2 tsp)
+ 1.5g pure stevia powder (1 tsp)
+ 2.5g salt (1/2 tsp)

🥛WET INGREDIENTS🥛
+ 1 egg (50g)
+ 15g vanilla extract (1 Tbsp)
+ 150ml milk (~1/2 cup; I used cashew)

📜DIRECTIONS📜
1️⃣ Heat waffle iron
2️⃣ Sift all dry ingredients together
3️⃣ Mix wet ingredients together
4️⃣ Mix wet and dry ingredients
5️⃣ Spray waffle iron
6️⃣ Add ~40g batter and cook for ~4 minutes
7️⃣ Top with butter & sugar-free syrup (or whatever you like)
