Sometimes, the smallest things carry the deepest meaning.
A few months ago, a mother reached out to us after purchasing one of our ornaments. She loved our work and mentioned seeing a dragonfly ornament in our shop, but it wasn’t quite what she was looking for. Then, she shared her story.
Her beautiful son, gone too soon, had always loved dragonflies. He was a quiet observer, never seeking the spotlight. Moved by her words, we offered to create a custom piece—a scene of a dragonfly hovering over a peaceful pond, not in the center, but simply part of the beauty. As we designed it, we felt something was missing. He shouldn’t be alone. So, we added a second dragonfly, flying nearby.
When she saw the final piece, her response was deeply emotional. She told us she believed her son had guided her to us so we would create this piece, but also connect, human to human, not just in a business to customer transaction. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
