I'm thrilled to reflect on this week of gratitude and celebrate the incredible support received through the Small Business Impact Program (SBIP) at The Brumley Institute for Graduate Entrepreneurship at UT McCombs School of Business. This transformative program provides business education and human resources to help small businesses execute their growth plans through high-impact workshops, networking opportunities, and 1:1 mentorship.
My sincere appreciation goes to Christy Grady, Iman Mary Grace Granito, Iman Salafian, and Mellie Price for their outstanding leadership, dedication, and program administration. Their commitment to small business success has been instrumental.
Shoutout to Wells Fargo Christopher Rios for their generous support of this program.
The cohort comprised of 20 small businesses has been fortunate to learn from exceptional industry experts who shared invaluable insights across goal setting, marketing, finance, and operations: Cristina Siligardi, Chris Aarons, Bart Bohn, and Holly Tachovsky. Their expertise has been truly game-changing.
A particular highlight has been working with CFO mentor Barbara Daniels, whose guidance, financial expertise, and custom worksheets have brought tremendous clarity to my cash flow projections and financial planning.
I'm also grateful to student assistant Dilan Patel for his excellent support with contract documents, marketing initiatives, and social media content creation.
Finally, I'm thrilled to be joined in this cohort by fellow Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce members Emlyn Lee, Kimberley Chung, and Dan Castro. And, networking w/ Kerri McDonald, Vanguard Roofing & Ai Vuong to name a few.
I'm excited to share a business spotlight that showcases the program's impact and the tremendous value of this collaboration. The BIG-E BEAT: November Newsletter
