Don't Count VCT Out.

LVT may require less maintenance. But does it cost less to own?

AHF modeled 100,000 square feet of VCT and LVT over 30 years. Even after accounting for VCT's restorative maintenance, LVT cost 1.7 to 2.2X more across the three modeled traffic levels.

The difference comes down to service life.

LVT is replaced. VCT is renewed.

For commercial flooring contractors, that's a conversation worth having with customers planning for the long term.
