It's been a rough January for small businesses with the weather. It's easy to forget they are out there doing their best all winter. And remember when spring comes around, these are the businesses you will be approaching for your fundraisers and raffles!

How about we make tomorrow a Small Business Saturday and support local retailers and restaurants?

Try to support a few of your favorites this weekend. And if you can't rally to leave the house in the cold, how about buying gift cards online? Give them some financial support to carry them through and then use the card when it warms up a bit!

Custom storefront ornaments might be my favorite projects. I love picking out the notable features of each business and figuring out how to work the details into such a small area. And it’s so fun to partner up with different businesses!

While it’s too late to order these for this holiday season, you can reach out at any time to get started on the design process. Frankly, I leave these out year round because they are too cute to keep hidden in the attic!

It’s small business Saturday! Have you shopped small yet? Whether you’re hitting up some village boutiques, a downtown art gallery, a cottage industry artist or foodie or a rural farm, they can all use your support this holiday season!
