One of my favorite parts of this job is trying new techniques and bringing fresh ideas to my clients.

Lately we got to drop off a few UV printed leatherette patch samples to some repeat clients so they could see what’s possible for their next projects. There’s something really exciting about taking an idea, experimenting with new methods, and then putting the finished samples in someone’s hands so they can actually see and feel the quality.

I’m always looking for ways to expand what Etched in the Pines can offer, and working with awesome repeat clients makes it even better.

Nothing beats creating something new and then getting to say,
“Hey… look what I can do now.”

These were a fun one to create! 🐣🍕

We teamed up with Westy’s One Stop in Mount Vernon to make these custom Easter egg hunt prize tokens. Each one is a cut acrylic coin that’s UV printed and hidden inside eggs for their big Easter event.

And let’s be honest… who wouldn’t want to crack open an Easter egg and find out they won:

We had the opportunity to team up with Tires Plus of Bemidji to create these custom St. Patty’s Day giveaway coins!

There’s something pretty cool about this project.

These knives came from a union-made company, and I had the opportunity to laser engrave the Teamsters Local 120 stamp for the drivers.

As a small business, being trusted to put the final touch on something that represents hard work, pride, and brotherhood means a lot.

Cancer sucks. There’s no other way to say it.

But one thing I’ve seen time and time again in our communities is how people show up when someone is fighting the battle of their life. Fundraisers, benefit dinners, raffles, auctions… people coming together to help someone who needs it.

These custom cancer support keychains were made for a fundraiser, and projects like this always hit a little deeper. They’re more than just a product — they’re something people can buy to support someone they care about and help raise money during a really hard time.

Most of the time I use my creativity for my clients, but every now and then I get the chance to spoil someone close to me with it. If you know me at all, you know I’m all about memories and stories.
So when I got the opportunity to design, create, and showcase a memory for my father-in-law, I jumped on it.
With a little help from my husband—who definitely didn’t want me using his torch to burn it 😅—we were able to surprise him with this piece. It’s a mix of laser-cut wood, a UV-printed stone photo, and UV-printed text on the wood. Such a fun project to bring together.
The main reason I do social media is for the memories and the stories behind them, so being able to capture and showcase one of those stories in a piece I created was something really special. It makes it extra special that little moose was there when they retrieved that deer and he was so excited for his grandpa so now they have that moment together.

Sorry Dean that we had to take your fish 🐟 off your office wall. I hope this helps make up for it!

Etched in the Pines isn’t just creating custom pieces for my own clients — I also work behind the scenes with other print shops and makers in our area.
I help local shops finish their orders by creating the custom pieces they need to make their clients happy —
like leatherette patches, engraved components, and specialty items that get added to their final products.
Think of me as your local add-on shop when you need:

Etched in the Pines is Growing! ✨
When I first started this little business I never imagined how far it would go. One project turned into ten, ten turned into a hundred, and now we’re at the point where I need more machines just to keep up — and I’m not mad about it. 😅

We’re officially expanding so we can customize more things, in more ways, for more people. Between laser engraving, embroidery, vinyl/screen print, and now UV printing, we’re covering everything from rustic wood signs to full color phone cases and team gear.

It's been chaotic, but I'm finally sharing some recent projects, starting with these egg baskets. I was tired of my old trays that only held 24 eggs - no idea when I got them! Now, the eggs are organized, and I can track the ladies' daily production. This one turned out amazing, and I'm keeping it, but next time, I'll use thicker wood!
