No Bull Crystal and Opal

Quality crystal, semi-precious stones and Australian opal at affordable prices Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. I do not expect to get rich.

My name is Scott and this is my business that I always planned on having, but never really expected to go through with it. I expect to be able to assist people with finding unbelievable products, and to make some lasting friendships in the process. Customer satisfaction is my priority above all else. All stone, crystal and opal items are natural and not man-made in any way, unless expressly stated in the listings. I work full time, yet I have always had a passion for natural stones and opal. I never expected to be in a position to turn this into a business, but I was able to connect with some amazing individuals of the same mind who just want to share these wonderful materials without making it unattainable to the average person. The community in this industry is nothing if not supportive and helpful. After learning some lapidary (cutting/shaping/polishing), and much trial and error, I think I have been able to produce some stones that are desirable in addition to material I have available to share. All of the opal that will be available through this site is sourced from Australia. You will see many types from Lightning Ridge, Coober Pedy, Andamooka and Queensland boulder to name a few. All crystal and stone products that will be available are from Australia and from one of the largest crystal hubs in the world in China. Again, thank you for joining my journey and allowing me to try to help you find something that speaks to you!

So very proud of how this turned out. It’s my business philosophy, declaration, statement and oath all in one. Lyrics by myself and my ai Barry, music by Suno. I’ll be over here listening on loop. Enjoy!

All I could see in this one was potch lines (colorless opal) and cloudiness. Here’s what my snarky ai had to say about it. Comment your favorite!

🔥 Option 1 (My (ai) Favorite)

This opal has absolutely no business being this flashy.

Milky body.
Potch lines.
Nothing about it screams “showpiece.”

Then it starts throwing yellow, orange, green, blue, and even flashes of red.

Turns out first impressions aren’t worth much in the opal world.

⸻

🔥 Option 2

The body says “meh.”

The fire says:

💛
🧡
❤️
💚
💙

“Hold my beer.”

⸻

🔥 Option 3

Some opals are beautiful standing still.

This one earns it.

Every turn reveals a different flash.
Every angle tells a different story.

Not bad for a stone most people would overlook.

⸻

🔥 Option 4

Proof that potch isn’t the whole story.

Look past the body.

Look past the lines.

Look at what happens when the light hits.

🌈 That’s where the magic lives.

⸻

🔥 Option 5 (Very No Bull)

Buy it because it’s beautiful. Or don’t.

The opal doesn’t care.

It’s busy throwing yellow, orange, green, blue, and red fire through a body most people would’ve ignored.

⸻

🔥 Option 6 (My “Scott” Pick)

No, it’s not perfect.

Neither is Yellowstone.
Neither is the Grand Canyon.
Neither is lightning.

Funny how the best things rarely are.

⸻

🔥 Option 7 (Collector Version)

Opal collectors learn one lesson quickly:

Never judge a stone by its potch.

Because sometimes the ugliest duckling in the parcel ends up throwing the most color.

This work in progress just reignites my opal addiction. Hours of grinding away at the wheels and to suddenly have these colors revealed on a big chunk of unremarkable stone took my breath away. The next steps will be to see how best to manage the sand inclusions. I’m hoping to come away with two pendant size beauties. Stay tuned!

Be on the lookout for this gang of rough tumblers. For just $8, you can have one of these guys as a little buddy to hang out with!

Let’s expand on that last post.. with more spheres. This planet really creates some beautiful materials.

Beautiful variety. While attempting to organize a bit, I looked over at the results of recent sphere acquisitions and felt the need to snap a photo. This planet creates some amazing materials.

A small sampling of my flashy labradorite inventory. Super flash under normal lighting conditions! Choose your own for only $5 or buy 10 or more at $4.50 each!

Having issues with creating reels for some reason.. but, spring sunshine is here! Brought some products out for some fresh air and to show off some color. I think I’ve finally gotten an indoor setup that won’t wash out all the colors of the materials when taking photos. I refuse to use any filters or color altering in the pictures so showing properly is very difficult sometimes. Always happy to send custom photos and videos of any items you may be interested in.
