While there is another page, that was set up many years ago, the gentleman taking care of it passed away & no one knew the e-mail or password he used to set it up. This page will keep you current with what is available, who is having sales & hopefully weekly showcase some of the knew & interesting pieces that have arrived.
A forever changing selection of merchandise. Nestled in the quaint, historic village of Ballston Spa, in upstate NY is The Ballston Spa Antique Center. One of the largest multi-dealer shops in the tri-county area, it was founded by Brent Millington in 1985. With approximately 30 dealers showcasing their various wares, you are bound to find just what you are looking for. Housed in the former Steiner's Hardware store, it retains many of its original fixtures. While many upgrades & improvements have been made over the years, the original character of the store remains intact & you will even find that the store actually uses the cash register that was original to Steiner's, for all their daily sales! Steiner connected two buildings back in the day & while the second floor on one side was originally an apartment, that too is now part of the antique center. Two sides, two floors with an eclectic array of merchandise that ranges from country to contemporary. Victorian to mid century modern. Furniture to figurines. Marble tops to marbles. Jewelry to Jewel Tea. Lithographs to linens. Books to bottles & everything in-between. If you are looking for depression glass, fine quality glass, pottery, clocks (as well as two gentlemen who also repair them), Pyrex, decorator items, toys, ephemera, even painted furniture & chalk paint/wax, plus so much more, stop in & check us out. Not to mention one of the most extensive selections of fine antique furniture in the area, furniture that has stood the test of time & will not fall apart when wet. The shop is on the corner of Milton Ave & Ford Street, (across from Michael's Automotive). A warm & accommodating environment with no hard sells, very reasonable prices & the shop cat, Lyno who when not sleeping, happily greets customers! People seem to stop in just to see him...he has quite the fan club. Stop in & browse. Show the person you care about, the person you are buying that special gift for, that you actually put thought, care & love into it. Gift cards are nice but it is even more special, more personal when someone takes the time, makes the effort to find that particular item a friend is searching for/collects. If we don't have it, we have enough dealers to look for it...just sign our wish book or perhaps we can point you to another shop that may have it.
