“Mommy, I want to go home!” 🥹
says our very confused 3yo, who is still trying to figure out exactly where home is these days. 😂

This summer’s adventure has us living in a rental while we renovate our new (36-year-old!) home… with six kids, including one getting ready to go back to college five hours away. To say life feels a little chaotic right now would be a bit of an understatement. ☀️

So while we’re busy tearing apart and putting together our next home, we’ve been feeling extra nostalgic looking back at the one we left behind! 🤍

Nine years ago, we built our house from the ground up and got to choose every little detail that made it feel like us, all while doubling the size of our family. 💖

Now we’re grateful to do it all over again—but totally different experience this time! Instead of starting from scratch, we’re taking a 36-year-old house and giving it new life, bringing along some of the designs and details we loved most from this home while dreaming up plenty of new ones along the way.

So here’s to the old house and the beginning of a whole new renovation adventure… six kids, one rental, one old house and approximately a trillion decisions and designs to go! 😂🔨🏡💖
